How long to you sneak away from the office for during lunch? I always pack a bag with my gym stuff in it, just in case I have a big opening in my schedule, but I only seem to get away a couple times per month if I'm lucky.

I take lunch from noon to one thirty. I usually get the whole hour and a half as long as my last patient of the morning doesn't run over. My front office staff knows how important my run it is to me so they are careful to not schedule anything that could go past noon. With an hour and a half I have time to drive to the gym, change, run 3 miles, go to subway and grab a sandwhich, stop at the park on the way back to the office to eat my sandwich while sitting in my truck and then make it back to the office by 130pm. It probably sounds kind of hectic but it works just fine.
