Nice interval workout on the TM at the aquatic center before work.

I saw this guy covered in tatoos and about 60 years old in an electric wheelchair. He must have been over 400lbs and was hooked up to oxygen through his nose. He was in the pool doing light aerobics (sans to O2). He then came into the weight room and sat in his chair doing some weight lifting with dumbells. I was so impressed with his willingness and effort to improve his obviously difficult situation. It also made me appreciate just how nice it is to be healthy and in good shape.

Hey Mack. Nice workout. Sounds like that guy really wants to live.

I'm hanging I'm there. I think I have a case of runners knee, so I haven't been running much lately. Also, not many people have been posting on the blog lately, so I haven't been checking on it for a while.

It is nice to sit back and realize just how blessed we are to be able to run and play and be healthy. I love that you were able to look at the guy and see him in a positive light, instead of the negatives that most people would see.

Dale, I hope that knee heals up quickly. Strengthen your quads. That is the only long term solution to runners knee.

Interesting observations, that guy sounds like he is in serious trouble.

Happy Sunday Mack. Today has been a great Sabbath Day. I'm looking forward to the Christmas devotional tonight.

Rhett, I didn't make it to the devotional. How was it? Sounds like you had a pretty good day working with all those High Priests you are in charge of.

The devotional was great as usual. It always gets me in the Christmas spirit. It was just one of those weeks at church that was spiritually uplifting the whole way through. I wish I felt that way every week, but then maybe I wouldn't recongnize how great it is.
