Ran the Turkey Trot 8k route (two loops plus a little extra starting at the church instead of the chamber of commerce). Avg Pace=9:34. Started at about 1030pm after a long busy day. It felt great to have some quiet time to relax and ponder. I found out that sucking on peppermint hard candy during the last few miles is just as pleasant and effective as sucking on jolly ranchers.

Nice run! I have a hard time sucking on candy while I run. It always goes to the back of my throat and then I choke on it.
