Ran two miles (without any walk breaks) for the first time in a long time on the TM at anytime fitness this afternoon.

It's a good feeling to know I am back in action after a few months of being bogged down with some personal/family challenges. Life is so sweet and enjoyable when I'm running regularly. I definitely felt that good old pleasant glow as I stepped off the TM after putting in a simple little 2 miler.

My new mantra is CONSISTENCY, CONSISTENCY, CONSISTENCY!!! I know that is what separates the good runners on here from the rest.

60 min cardio (combination Bike and elliptical) at gym.

Yesterday I ordered "Power 90" which is kind of like a lighter version of P90X (made by the same people). When it arrives I'm going to do it for the full 90 days like Rhett did his P90X. I need the break in routine as running has become stale for me.

I'm thinking that after 90 days of that I will be in much better shape and itching to get back into my regular running mode.

30 Min of good hard cardio intervals (bike and elliptical). Weights: upright rows, dips, tricep push downs, curls, bench press and crunches. I did one set of 15 for each lift in a circuit with enough weight to get about 90% to failure). For the crunches I did Joe Weiders aerobic 6 (modified down to 3 for my not yet fit abs).

I was furious this morning with one of my employees and it felt incredibly good to go to the gym at lunch and blow it all off and replace it with endorphins.

Still waiting for my power 90 to come in the mail...
